How much more beautiful something seems when there is an edge of danger to it. The forest has long been theme to romantic stories and ideas, as well as a place to be feared. What lurks in the shadow beneath the tree line? Is it the big bad wolf as in the story of Little Red Riding Hood? Or is it merely a trick of the light? The forest can be dangerous as well as alluring. It can make you want to wander too far and trap you. But, how can we not dare to look when the vista can be so breath taking?
A Tree Series JavaScript must be enabled to view images. In a world of 6 billion people it’s hard not to notice how alike we all are. Yet each of us is different in subtle yet significant ways. We are a forest of people each of us growing, living and co-existing together to form a mass that covers the globe. A tree series is taking this idea of same but different and exploring it in a fun and colorful way. Each piece is an examination of form, relating to color and technique.
